I've organized a private, custom day-long culinary workshop with H. Alex Talbot and Aki Kamozawa, the creative culinary force behind the blog and book IDEAS IN FOOD. I'm a fan and follower of their blog, have read their book and have learned much from them, but want to learn more! Normally a private workshop with these two, in their own kitchen, starts at $800 per person, but I asked them to let me put together a group of 4 of my most dedicated clients (plus me!) to learn, cook and eat in The Ideas In Food kitchen for a much reduced rate. Aki and Alex specialize in sharing techniques for creativity with chefs, cooks, restaurants, food service companies, and home cooks using modern ingredients, equipment, and innovative approaches to food. They emphasize an understanding of ingredients and cooking techniques (both classic and modern) in order to increase skill levels and refine individual cooking styles. They specialize in helping other chefs express their own cuisine more clearly and effectively. In addition to their work with individual chefs and restaurants, they have consulted with companies including the Art Institutes, the Institute of Culinary Education, Marks & Spencer, and Unilever. The workshop will be from 10 am - 4 pm and be packed with new ideas, techniques, inspiration, and creativity as we explore topics that will make you a better, more instinctive and fearless cook.
