A theme.

Election Night only happens every four years so years so grab your friends, make some of the candidates favorite foods and anxiously watch your favorite political pundit turn states blue or red by touching the magic screens. We’ve got everything you need from Mitt’s Meatloaf Cakes to Barack’s Guac & Chips so why not friend-fund an amazing evening? It’s the American thing to do.

Instructions for this party

Election Night is a fun reason to get together with friends to talk about the state of the nation while also enjoying some good food and beverages. If you're looking to kick things up even further, you can even introduce fun dishes based on previous debate comments and jabs or a drinking game every time one of the candidates says "5-point plan."

Have your guests invite friends of their own so you have a fun mix of familiar and new faces and if you don't know of any women to invite, perhaps Mitt can lend you a few from his "binder full of women".

About the event

We've pulled out some great recipes from our "Binder full of recipes" highlighting some of the President and Governor's favorite food and drinks.

For more fun, play a drinking game where everyone has to pick a word or phrase. Whenever that phrase gets used, everyone else besides you has to drink. Get creative but here are some examples:

  • "5 Point Plan"
  • "Hold on a moment, that’s not correct."
  • "please stay on topic." (moderator)
  • "I'd like to point out"
  • "Excuse me, but that’s not quite correct"
  • "Act of terror"
  • "Clean coal"

Unless you want it to become a crazy night of drinking, ban "middle class" from the choices.
